Lobos Island
An islet 35 minutes from the port: sea lions, blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds, with hiking and snorkeling.

7photosLobos Island is a small islet near Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, on San Cristóbal Island. Just 35 minutes of sailing away, it is home to a great diversity of wildlife: blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, pelicans, sea lions and lava lizards.
The trail is filled with volcanic rocks, so appropriate footwear and a walking stick for support are recommended. Along the way you'll see blue-footed boobies resting, incubating eggs or caring for their chicks, and male frigatebirds displaying their inflated red chest. The tour is 80% hiking and 20% snorkeling.
The route continues to the beach at Bahía Ochoa. Once the visit is over, lunch is served on board before returning to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
